Often people perceive that the building of oak framed houses and extensions is something that only happens in the English countryside but in fact the majority of our projects are well within the M25. We have recently finished a 7m x 3m extension to a small semi detached house on the edge of Wimbledon. Our clients bought the house in 2006 for £605,000. Earlier this year we added a two bay oak framed extension to create a larger family living area with a large opening through to the kitchen. The total project cost just over £60,000. Shortly after completion our clients were delighted when agents valued the house at £780,000.
